Problem

New trial sign-ups churned before reaching the 'first useful chart' moment.

Approach

Rewrote the onboarding as a 4-step interactive walkthrough with sample data, contextual tips, and progress-restore.

Outcome

Activation rate climbed from 34% to 61%. The flow is now the company's most-A/B-tested screen.
